About Virginia
My name is Virginia Kaster and I am a very ADHD tutor. I am also dyslexic so I completely understand the difficulties of a neurotypical education structure when you are not neurotypical. I will strive to make sure you understand the material by utilizing various teaching methods until we find one that works for you. As someone who studies psychology and has learning disabilities myself, I have formulated a completely different approach to tutoring that makes achieving good grades more accessible! I often explain things in layman's terms before moving on to a deeper understanding of the topic to ensure proper information retention. In my years of study, I have discovered many great techniques for memorization and understanding that even I have personally used for exams and studying. I have experience in tutoring and working with others with both high and low support needs learning disabilities. It is my passion and my goal for you to come out of each lesson feeling more confident in yourself and your knowledge.
I am primarily focused on early college level psychology course as well as high school and some advanced college courses. I have taken and passed Sensation and Perception, a notoriously difficult psychology course, and am well prepared to help others through it as well.
