About Starrie
Hi, I’m Starrie! I personally find education exciting and explorative. Being able to acknowledge new academic concepts has always been an exciting achievement to me along my path of studying so far. I am passionate to pass on my interest to other primary or GCSE students who seek help in improving grades. I am confident that I would be able to break down complicated scientific or mathematical problems to my students and ensure them with confidence when they face the problems again.
In terms of the artistic side, I have been a very creative person since small: participating in art competitions, creating crafts on my own out of cardboards, etc. Therefore, I am motivated to spread my creativity and support more young artists.
As a student growing up in state schools, I have encountered many classmates of a range of abilities and have worked efficiently with my teammates in projects. Certainly speaking, I believe effective communication could resolve any academic problems and build new personal ideas!

Hi, I’m Starrie! I am an aspiring student offering friendly, structured tutoring for primary school and GCSE students in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Having recently completed my GCSEs, I have a very fresh, firsthand understanding of the current syllabus and exactly how to study effectively. I achieved top-tier marks across my STEM subjects, scoring 98% in Mathematics, 96% in Chemistry, 85% in Biology and 100% in art.
My lessons are tailored to help students build genuine confidence, master difficult topics, and learn real exam techniques. In my Art and design lesson, I could either aid younger students in developing their creativity and eagerness to experiment, or tutor GCSE students in organising and developing their portfolio. As a former senior school student mentor, I know how to break down intimidating topics—like algebra or chemical equations—into simple, stress-free steps. As a multilingual student who is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, I can assure that the content would be understandable and approachable. I am patient, organised, and dedicated to helping you reach your full potential!
