About Amy
I have always enjoyed school and the pursuit of knowledge. This is why I enjoy tutoring and want to help teach others so that they too can enjoy their subjects and do well. As a past matric student, who graduated with 4 distinctions and is trusted to tutor by professional teachers, I find that I am qualified. I am taking a gap year to earn money for university next year and would love to tutor to save and, most importantly, help students in their subjects so they can achieve great marks and go to university.

I make my worksheets and tailor them to each student so that I can ensure their understanding and improvement. I am able to teach English and Afrikaans as languages as I received distinctions in both. I also teach History and Life Sciences. A typical lesson will start with a recap of their upcoming school week so that I know what to focus on and then a marking of homework given previously. I believe in worksheets and repetition of some work that they struggle with, so that i can see their improvement. My lessons are aimed at anyone needing tutoring. I am currently tutoring a child in Grade 6 and one in Grade 12.
