About Sam
I am a 9-year teacher, who has taught EVERY high school math course available; everything from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus BC! I have also been tutoring students since I, myself, was in high school. I enjoy teaching and helping students improve their math confidence. My favorite part of teaching is watching students have ah-ha moments!

I am all about making connections. When learning about math, it is important to know WHY it works and HOW it works. My goal is to introduce or review concepts by first making sure you understand where it comes from and how it works. For example: factoring a quadratic expression is just undoing the multiplication of two binomials, if you know how multiplication works, you can understand factoring!
