About Jennifer
I am a veteran high school math teacher with experience teaching Geometry, Algebra I/II, and various concepts from other subjects. I earned my college degree in Mathematics/Computer Science Magna Cum Laude. I have taught students from various learning backgrounds including students with disabilities, ELL students, students who are gifted and struggling learners. I have had success with all types of students.

My passion is for Geometry so I like to provide visual examples whenever possible. In addition, I prefer to teach for understanding as opposed to seek answers. I also believe in providing just enough guidance to allow students to formulate their own conclusions. When students discover knowledge on their own, they are more likely to retain it.
