About Shamsa
Hi, I am offering primary school tuition for KS1 & KS2 - children aged 4 to 11 years. I have 6 years’ experience working in a primary school as a higher level teaching assistant. I have worked with year 6 for 3 years - prepping them for SATs. I also have 3 years experience working with younger children in ks1 teaching phonics. I have supported children in groups and as 1-1 in Maths and English. In Maths I have taught arithmetic, basic skills and reasoning. In English - SPaG, reading and writing, comprehension skills and spelling. I have worked with INA and SEN children. I am extremely hard working, I love what I do and teach with passion. I have a level 3 diploma in teaching and learning and I have just completed the level 4 HLTA course. I am DBS checked. I currently work in a primary school and support teaching in year 3. I have experience of teaching a whole class, groups, interventions and 1 to 1 support for international new arrival children and special educational needs children. I am confident and can assure you that I will make a difference to your child's education. I put my heart and sole into helping children learn.
I am available any day after 4 pm and anytime on the weekends.
