About Eloise
I’m a friendly and enthusiastic Art tutor specialising in GCSE and A-Level Art and Design.
I achieved 190/192 in A-Level Fine Art (AQA) and 427/480 in GCSE (AQA) Art and Design (Grade 9), both the highest marks in my school, and I enjoy helping students understand how to reach top grades in their own work.
I am also about to study Architecture at the University of Bath, which strengthens my understanding of design, creativity, and visual communication.
I have a strong understanding of exam requirements and focus on breaking down specifications into clear, manageable steps.
I support students with coursework, sketchbook development, artist research, experimentation, and final pieces, helping them build both confidence and creativity.
I’m passionate about making art feel accessible and enjoyable, while also helping students stay organised and focused on what examiners are looking for.

I take a friendly, structured approach to tutoring, focusing on helping students understand exactly what examiners are looking for in GCSE and A-Level Art. I break down coursework and sketchbook development into clear, manageable steps, guiding students through idea generation, artist research, experimentation, and final outcomes. I analyse exam specifications and turn them into clear, manageable goals so students can progress step by step with confidence. I aim to build both confidence and creativity, so students feel supported while developing their own artistic style.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and deadlines.
I achieved *190/192 in A-Level Art (A) and 427/480 in GCSE Art (Grade 9)**, both the highest marks in my school, and I use the methods that helped me succeed to support my students effectively.
My lessons are for GCSE and A-Level Art and Design students, usually aged 14–18, who want to improve their coursework, sketchbooks, exam projects, and overall grades in a supportive and encouraging environment.
