About Ola
As a teacher, it’s important to show an infectious enthusiasm for the subject that you teach. This comes across not only in my general demeanour, but also through my engaging lesson planning.
It is only through this, that you can strive to ignite the passion for learning, we should all want from our pupils. This is something I place a huge importance on.
In my previous role, I consistently showed the ability to build good and lasting relationships with my students. Not just through my role as a subject teacher, but also as a form tutor and a mentor.
The role of a modern-day teacher/tutor has changed over the years. It stretches far and beyond, just simply teaching and managing a classroom full of kids.
I believe not only in supporting our young people in their educational journeys, but also helping them prepare for opportunities and options that lay in wait for them post-school.

As an educator I use interactive discussions, personalised exercises, and real-life examples to reinforce concepts. Lessons last about 60 minutes, combining theory with practice.
Progress is monitored through quizzes and feedback, ensuring each session builds on the student’s strengths and addresses weaknesses.
I have undergrad and postgrad degrees in Media Studies and Journalism. New to private tutoring, but experienced in teaching and building up young minds. Lessons will be targeted at KS3/4/5 students.
