About Rachel
Headline: Cambridge-Trained Educator with 27 Years of UK & International Success
I am a passionate, career-long mathematics teacher trained at Cambridge University. Over the past 27 years, I have dedicated my life to helping school-age students master mathematics and achieve their full potential.
My Career Background:
• 17 Years in UK State Schools: Built a rock-solid foundation in pedagogy, curriculum design, and classroom management, helping students from all backgrounds excel.
• 10 Years in Elite Private International Schools (Europe): Specialized in navigating the unique demands of international curriculums, working closely with diverse student bodies.
• Dual Expertise: Alongside my classroom career, I have successfully provided private, one-on-one tutoring for 27 years, transitioning to full-time specialized online tutoring over the last year.
Having spent a decade inside premium international schools, I deeply understand the IGCSE system and what examiners look for. I bring university-level expertise combined with the patience, warmth, and practical experience that only a seasoned educator can offer.

Headline: Specialized, Exam-Focused IGCSE Support Tailored to Your Child
With 27 years of experience, I know exactly where students struggle with IGCSE Mathematics and how to fix it. My lessons are highly structured, interactive, and entirely tailored to the individual learner.
What a typical session looks like:
• Targeted Gap Analysis: We pinpoint exactly which topics (from algebra to trigonometry) are causing friction.
• Exam Technique Mastery: We don't just learn math; we master the specific wording, marking schemes, and time-management strategies required by top international exam boards.
• Confidence Building: I break down complex, multi-step problems into clear, logical, and manageable steps, turning math anxiety into academic confidence.
Whether your child needs to rescue a failing grade or secure a top mark for university entry, I provide the elite, stress-free guidance they need to succeed.
