No person is the same and everyone has their own unique way of learning. I will spend our first session listening to you and identifying your needs and goals - both short and long term. We will discuss how best you like to learn, what you are finding especially difficult, and what you are enjoying. From there, we will make a plan together about how to proceed.
I am an historian from Oxford, who has since studied law, and is training to be a solicitor with an American law firm in the City. Having grown up with tutors myself, I understand how vital it is to find a caring, patient, and passionate tutor to help you reach your personal and academic goals. I have tutored for almost ten years, from GCSE's to university level. Seeing a subject 'click' with a student, or helping them become more confident in their ability, is why I do this. I tutor in addition to my day job because I strongly believe in the importance of mentoring, and the need to pass on the mentoring I myself received.
