About Sierra
I am an honors student at the University of Florida majoring in Astrophysics with a minor in Mathematics. I have been tutoring since 2017 and have worked with 20+ different students of different ages and in different subjects. My favorite subjects to tutor are any STEM subjects, however, I also excel in tutoring reading and writing. I have a strong academic background, having been in an IB program in high school and having just completed my second year in university. I am passionate and driven, and love helping students master their learning experiences.

I have worked with a diverse student population, ranging from kindergarten through beyond college age, as well as students with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning disabilities. I personalize every session according to each individual students’ needs, supplementing every session with practice problem sets and thoughtful and thorough explanations. Typically, a lesson consists of reviewing the content material, asking and answering questions or confusion, and completing problems until mastery. I ensure to work with the student to determine any points of weakness and turn them into their greatest strengths.
