About Kate
I am a graduate from the University of Western Australia (UWA) with a bachelor in Philosophy and French, with honors in French philosophy. In 2027 I will begin my PhD in philosophy.
After graduating in 2024, I became a tutor in philosophy for UWA, teaching in applied ethics. I currently tutor at Monash University in ethics.
I also undertook a research role with UWA business school in 2025, researching in the history of political economy, and translating relevant French historical texts.
Since graduating I have only taught at a tertiary level, however during my undergraduate degree I was a high school teaching assistant and private tutor.
In 2023 I was a French assistant teacher at Perth Modern High School, WA's only academically select school. I taught French across all year groups and helped with ATAR preparation.
From 2021-2023 I worked as a tutor for the company ACES education, teaching primary and high school English. I have experience working with children with autism, ADHD and dyslexia.
I also have worked as a private tutor, tutoring in ATAR philosophy, literature and English.
