About Leah

I am a passionate and fully qualified English teacher who cares about your success. I graduated from Brock University Concurrent Education with my BA (Hons.), Bed, and OCT. I am currently completing my Master's of English Literature. I have taught students of all abilities, backgrounds, ages and learning needs, and I have taught different curriculum material in England, China, and Canada.

About the lesson

My classes are supportive, positive and inclusive spaces that are accessible to anyone with a desire to learn. I use a variety of teaching approaches based on the needs of the student, including: modelling, scaffolding, differentiated instruction and activity and differentiated content depending on the interests and needs of the learner.

I believe in open communication between teacher and student to ensure comprehension, understanding, and application of knowledge and skills.
