About Srinjoy
I am a current student at Imperial College London, one of the world's leading universities for science and engineering, where I am completing a Master's degree.
I also hold a first degree in Computer Science Engineering, where I was one of the top-performing students in my cohort and received the Director's Award for Best Overall Performance.
Mathematics is not something I studied once and set aside — it is the foundation of everything I work on day to day, from advanced quantitative study to real analytical problem-solving.
For me, being a good tutor is about more than getting a student through an exam. It is just as important to me that students actually come to enjoy maths — to stop fearing it and start seeing why it is genuinely one of the most rewarding subjects there is.
I have found that once a student loses the anxiety and begins to understand what they are doing, their confidence and their grades follow naturally.
I am patient, reliable, and completely focused on helping each student build both the understanding and the genuine enjoyment that lead to real success.

My lessons are aimed at students studying Maths at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level, and I welcome students of all abilities — whether they are aiming for top grades or simply trying to get back on track and rebuild their confidence.
I have previously taught students at GCSE and A-Level level, and I understand what it takes to help a student move from struggling with a topic to genuinely mastering it.
My teaching approach is built on one core belief: real understanding beats memorisation every time.
Once a student truly understands why something works, they can solve problems they have never seen before, which is exactly what exams demand.
I begin by finding out precisely where a student is struggling, then break difficult concepts down into clear, simple steps and build up from there.
I use intuition, real-world examples and plenty of practice questions to turn abstract ideas into something concrete, and I always teach to the student's specific exam board so that every lesson lines up directly with what they will actually be tested on.
Just as importantly, I try to make lessons genuinely engaging, because a student who enjoys the subject learns far faster than one who dreads it.
Lessons typically last one-two hours, though I am flexible depending on the student's needs and can adjust the pace and length accordingly.
I offer lessons both online and in person, and I tailor everything — the material, the difficulty, the speed — to each individual student.
My goal for every lesson is simple: that the student leaves feeling more confident, more capable, and a little more in love with maths than when they arrived.
