About Ivy

Hi! I’m Ms. Ivy, a Licensed Professional Teacher and certified TEFL and TESOL educator with almost two and a half years of experience teaching English to international learners. I have worked with students of different ages and proficiency levels, helping them improve their communication skills, build confidence, and achieve their learning goals. I’m patient, adaptable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where every student feels supported and motivated to learn. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, academic skills, or overall confidence, I’m here to guide you throughout your learning journey.

About the lesson

I believe effective learning should be student-centered, engaging, and practical. I adapt my teaching methods to each learner’s level, goals, and learning style, using guided discussions, real-life situations, role-plays, interactive activities, and personalized feedback. A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up, followed by the introduction of the target skill or topic, guided practice, and independent speaking or application. I also provide corrections and encouragement throughout the lesson to help learners improve with confidence.

I aim not only to teach English but also to help students become more confident and independent learners guided through patience, adaptability, and focus on meaningful communication. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, from beginner to advanced levels, including learners studying General English, Conversational English, Academic English, Business English, and English proficiency tests such as IELTS, KET, PET, and FCE.
