About Ofentse
I have voluntarily started a small music academy since 2009 for the youth around my community. The academy is called Mighty Mangaung Brass Band and it is focused on teaching the youth how to play instruments, read music, and write (Compose and Rearrange) music. I personally formed this academy in the township so as it plays a role in fighting gasterism, drug and alcohol abuse, and other crimes done by the youth around the community.

I give music lessons around my community and I also help out school learners with Maths, Accounting, and Physics. I mostly teach one chapter at a time, and introduce the chapter practically first before going further; (e.g if I have to teach a student about a car, I get them to inspect the car practically first and let them identify all the parts;
When that is done we go to the book[theory lessons now] and start learning about the importance of each part we’ve identified during the practical)
This way the students get to understand quickly what they are leaning. I believe it’s best to practically introduce a chapter first so that when the students go to the book “theoretically” already they will have an idea what the chapter is all about
