About James
I have been a teacher in Newfoundland and Labrador for the last 10 years. I have a B.Sc. majoring in Physics and minoring in Mathematics, a B.Ed. in Intermediate/Secondary (focusing on Mathematics and Science) and a Masters in Mathematics for teachers. I prefer to work at a high school level but can also assist with introductory university level.

My core focus in teaching is improving your understanding and helping to reinforce your natural curiosity and aptitudes. Mathematics and Physics are about how we use our brain to approach problems and everyone is capable of performing well at both. I will help you with any specific problems/lessons you are struggling with, but I will also help you learn foundational skills for help with your future difficulties.
I am knowledgeable, easy-going, and adaptable. This makes me more than willing to adjust my techniques or technology as necessary.
