About Hidemi
I am a UBC student, who was born and raised in Santiago de Chile (a Spanish speaking country), pursuing an International Economics major and Spanish Minor. Throughout high school, I took the International Baccalaureate, including Higher Level Spanish A: Literature, English A: Language and Literature, Economics, and Biology, and Standard Level Math, and Chile and the Pacific Basin (taught in Spanish).

I base my lessons according to the student's needs. If there is a specific curriculum in their school imposes, then I create my lesson plan around it.
Additionally, as a tutor, I do not just teach the content, but I also teach self-discipline and studying habits. This way, the student does learn to not rely on any external force to succeed in their endeavors.
I am a firm believer that practice makes perfect, thus as I tutor, I prefer to teach practice heavy.
