About Nikita
I am an International Econs major with a minor in Education undergraduate student. I am certified to teach Environmental Sciences, although I have taught literature and English as a Second Language. I have experience working with elementary, middle and high school, although I focus for the most part on elementary students. I have experience with students with attention problems (ADD / ADHD).

I like to teach in a way that my students are involved in every step of their learning. Each activity has a purpose and I avoid only passing down information to my students, to avoid having students forget the content once the exams or assignments are finished. My tutoring schedule and structure is developed depending on what the student is studying, what they are good at and what difficulties they find with the curriculum. It is important to emphasize that I focus on how to use the strengths of my students to develop their academic weaknesses. I try to create a personalized plan for each one, considering these things. That includes the activities and resources that I use with each student. My courses are aimed at everyone and I like to work with goals that are understood by the student as well.
