About Lebo
I never thought I would pursue teaching as a future profession for myself, however throughout the years as I discovered myself, I found that I enjoy talking, presenting and making people understand my field of work. First as a laboratory assistant and demonstrator for undergraduate biology students, and mentoring laboratory recruits on practical projects. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and a Master's degree with a specialization in Immunology, molecular biology and genetics. I also posses practical experience working in various laboratories.

Through my years of studying, I have learnt that students learn and understand in different ways. I have found what has often helped me remember all the difficult processes and terminology in science, was always a method of association to everyday stuff. Therefore this is my teaching style. I am quite patient, willing to learning new methodologies, and I enjoy helping people understand science because it is a subject I am passionate about. I plan on having my students, leaving with a new light and excitement to discuss science after each lesson, and hopefully develop a passion to pursue it further as a career. I am proficient in English and Northern Sotho.
