About Nadia
I am a Biochemistry student at the University of Pennsylvania who has been through the rigorous math track of the Commonwealth Governor's School of Virginia. I completely understand feeling overwhelmed by fast-paced math courses, as I've been there myself! Luckily, this allowed me to develop successful learning and testing strategies and earn A's in every math class I have taken and 5s on multiple math AP Exams, including:
- AP Pre-Calculus
- AP Statistics
- AP Calculus AB
- AP Calculus BC
I also have three years of high school tutoring under my belt through Mu Alpha Theta National Math Honor Society, accumulating 50+ hours of one-on-one coaching and lots of experience explaining math topics of varying complexity to students of all learning styles!

I specialize in helping high-school students who are ambitious but struggling in math. I have experience in a wide range of high school math classes, including:
- Algebra I, Geometry, & Algebra II
- Pre-Calculus & AP Pre-Calculus
- AP Calculus AB & BC
I believe that understanding the foundations of math is a non-negotiable in order to truly learn and succeed. My goal is to reveal knowledge gaps that are blocking your progress and fill them through intentional practice, while simultaneously ensuring that you are 100% prepared for classroom learning, tests, and AP Exams.
A typical Zoom lesson will involve:
1. Checking in and reviewing homework, graded tests, or confusing concepts from your classroom lectures.
2. We'll identify problem areas, which you will practice independently with my guidance.
3. After getting feedback, we'll make a customized game plan for the week ahead preparing for any upcoming quizzes or tests.
Note: My first free hour is a 30-minute consultation where we look over your syllabus, pinpoint your current issues, and set up our regular schedule.
