About Leo

I focus on barre chords, rhythm tracking, and finger independence to ensure your technique keeps pace with your musical ambitions. Whether you’re diving into rich, complex harmonies or leading heartfelt worship melodies, I tailor each lesson to your goals. My approach integrates real-world playing scenarios with targeted exercises to build fluency and confidence. We’ll tackle stylistic playing across blues, pop, folk, and more, unlocking the unique voice of each genre. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and rooted in songs you love. You’ll learn to groove with precision and express musical ideas with clarity. Every session is customized—no two learners are the same. I adapt my teaching style to your learning preferences and pace. Expect hands-on guidance, structured progress, and open-ended exploration. By combining ear training and composition tasks, we’ll deepen your musical understanding. My goal is to help you play with confidence, fluency, and authentic expression.

About the lesson

With over 7 years of dedicated experience, I am a passionate guitar teacher specializing in Jazz and Contemporary Music. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Music with a major in Guitar, combining academic excellence with real-world performance expertise. My journey has taken me across diverse musical traditions, enriching my playing and teaching approach.

I've conducted workshops exploring world music styles—ranging from the fiery rhythms of Flamenco, the smooth grooves of Bossa Nova, to the intricate melodies of Hindustani Classical. These experiences have deepened my understanding of global musical expressions and allowed me to share that richness with my students.

My teaching is interactive, immersive, and rooted in cultural awareness. I focus on fostering both technical mastery and creative exploration. Whether it’s improvisation, advanced technique, composition, or ear training, I adapt to each learner’s goals and pace.

Lessons are tailored for curious minds at intermediate to expert levels. We’ll not only break down chords and scales but also uncover the stories and cultures behind them. I emphasize rhythm, resonance, and musical expression as essential elements of growth.
