About Nisala
Music has always been a huge part of my life, and the guitar has given me countless opportunities to learn, perform, and connect with others. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the instrument through studying jazz, while also exploring and playing a wide range of musical styles.
I believe that learning guitar should be both enjoyable and rewarding. One of the most satisfying parts of being a musician is sharing that knowledge and seeing students grow in confidence, develop their own musical voice, and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach.
I enjoy teaching because every student is different. Whether you’re learning your first chords, preparing for auditions or exams, or looking to expand your improvisation and musical understanding, I’m committed to helping you progress in a supportive and encouraging environment.
My aim isn’t just to teach you how to play songs it’s to give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become an independent musician who can continue learning and enjoying music for years to come.

Every lesson is tailored to your individual goals, whether you’re a complete beginner, an experienced guitarist looking to refine your technique, or a musician wanting to deepen your understanding of music.
My background in jazz guitar has given me a strong foundation in harmony, improvisation, rhythm, ear training, and music theory. While jazz is my speciality, I have extensive knowledge of a wide range of genres, including rock, blues, pop, funk, soul, R&B, indie, metal, and acoustic styles. This allows me to adapt each lesson to the music you enjoy while helping you develop well-rounded musicianship.
Rather than simply teaching songs, I aim to help you understand the guitar and the music behind it. You’ll learn practical techniques, improve your confidence, and build the skills needed to play creatively and independently.
Lessons are relaxed, supportive, and structured around your pace of learning. Whether your goal is to play your favourite songs, improvise, write your own music, prepare for performances or exams, or simply become a better guitarist, I’ll provide the guidance and encouragement to help you reach your full potential
