About Jemma
I'm one of those people who reads a book and gets so invested in the sheer magic of it, that they lose the ability to stop reading. Personally, I think this is a beautiful thing to experience... filling your brain up with knowledge of literature.
I am a writer. (I've always wanted to say that, purely because it has such a romantic appeal.)
But seriously, I LOVE to write. It's something that I am most passionate about. And of course, reading and writing go hand and hand.
I have found that my own experience writing has given me a much deeper understanding of the English language and the intricacies of English literature. I have learnt to appreciate it so much more through going through the process myself. I have always had a passion for Language. And for learning. Especially when it comes to the arts. I am a very creative person, and this shows in my approach to teaching.
I would live to be able to teach you and share the knowledge that I have accumulated to help you develop a deeper understanding of the subject at hand.

I have a very character fulled approach to teaching. By this I mean, that I would rather you be enlightened by the content than just interested in it.
Why?
Well no one likes a teacher that makes even the most exciting subjects seem boring. At least I sure didn't.
And trust me! English can be a very exciting subject if taught in the right way... especially when teaching literature!
