About Makeda
I'm a biomedical engineer with a Master's degree from Johns Hopkins University, where I spent nine years conducting research in computational genomics and regenerative medicine. My work involved mentoring students and breaking down complex biological concepts for diverse audiences—skills that translate directly to tutoring.
I'm patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy helping people understand material that initially feels overwhelming. Biology clicked for me when I started seeing the logic behind how systems work, and I like helping others get to that same place.
