About Kate
Many experiences have shaped my decision to become a tutor. I have always had a love for mathematics and I want to be an educator who influences students to also love math. I have worked with children for most of my young adult life, specifically since my freshman year of high school. I understand the struggles of understanding tricky concepts in math and have much experience in motivating students to persist.
I am a junior at Manhattan College with a double major in mathematics and adolescent education. I work at Mount Saint Michael Academy where I supervise a program called Math Madness. My favorite subjects in math include: algebra, trigonometry, and calculus.
