About Sammy
Because I was once in your shoes and struggled with other subjects myself, I've had tutors in the past, so I understand how frustrating it can be and how it feels to not fully understand a lesson, topic, or even a whole class taught in school. I am very patient, empathetic, and dedicated to helping you achieve your academic goals by providing all different types of explanations and teaching methods until you find one that makes sense to you. I am very non-judgmental, and I'm glad when a student is not afraid to tell me if they don't understand something I explain. That way, I can find other ways to teach it to you in a way that you can understand!

Hi! I'm a junior premed student majoring in Biology at Washington University in St. Louis. I graduated from the Academy for Biotechnology at Mountain Lakes High School in 2022, and I have a strong background in pre-algebra, algebra 1, and I love statistics and biology (particularly genetic and evolutionary biology). I did AP statistics in high school and recently finished my Elementary to Intermediate Statistics and Data Analysis course at WashU with an A+. I also did AP Biology in high school as well as several biology courses at WashU. I teach lessons to all students up to 12th grade.
