About Carly
I’m Carly, a dedicated and experienced KS1 teacher with a passion for fostering a love of learning in young children. I have been working in an outstanding school in Kensington over the last few years and I have gained a lot of experience with a range of children including adopted and SEN learners. I am well-versed in all elements of the KS1 curriculum, ensuring that your child receives comprehensive support in their educational journey.
I specialize in KS1 and so I have extensive experience with a variety of phonics schemes. This allows me to tailor my teaching methods to suit the individual needs of each student, helping them build a strong foundation in reading and writing.
In addition to my expertise in the general KS1 curriculum, I have significant experience working with students with additional needs. I am committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
I’m based in Islington and offer both in-person and online classes. Whether your child needs help with phonics, numeracy, literacy, handwriting or just feeling more prepared and confident at school, I am here to help!
