About Andrew
I have a strong background in language learning and teaching, and a genuine passion for helping students communicate with confidence. Although I do not hold a formal teaching license, I have several years of hands-on experience supporting learners from diverse backgrounds, levels, and goals. This practical experience has taught me how to adapt explanations, identify learning gaps, and tailor lessons to each student’s needs.

I teach with the belief that understanding comes before memorization and confidence comes before speed.
Key ideas: If a student can explain it in their own words, they understand it. Mistakes are not failures, they are diagnostic tools. Having ADHD I understand that teaching should adapt to the student, not the other way around.
Techniques I Use: Explain → Practice → Reflect loop. Plain language first, technical language second. Active questioning instead of lecturing. Scaffolding (start simple, build complexity gradually). Real world or relatable examples. Frequent check ins to be sure we are on the right track.
