About John
Hello! I am an Oxford graduate in languages (French & Italian) with a PGCE to teach French & Spanish. I've just returned to London after 9 years in South America (Bolivia, Chile and Brazil) working in education programme management and I would like to pass on my love of languages to others. I have several years' experience teaching in schools, informal groups and professionals. My teaching style is adaptable to all types of learners. I can tutor to prepare for specific exams (GCSE, A level, degree), for professional purposes, or just for general language acquisition. I also teach English as a Second Language. I am based in E2 but can travel around central London. I am currently available to work during the day as well as evenings and weekends. University : - University of Oxford - Modern Languages (French & Italian) [First with distinction] - King's College London - PGCE (French & Spanish) [Pass] - London Metropolitan University - Housing & Inclusion [Merit] School : Winchester College A Levels - French [A] - English [A] - History [B] Winchester College GCSEs - French [A*] - Spanish [A*] - English [A] - Latin [A*] Prizes and Scholarships : Spanish poetry prize

I met John when I first moved to London few years back and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
John is a very gentle and professional individual with an unique talent for languages and a great dose of patience and humour.
John speaks fluent Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, in addition to an excellent academic English and he is able to quickly adapt to his student needs, these being first steps with the language or advanced tuitions.View more recommendations
