About Folu
As my Dad is a teacher, education has always been important to me, but even more so as someone from an underprivileged background who worked hard to get into a top selective sixth form, university, and now subsequently a great career. This is my way of giving back to education what it gave to me, and seeing my students succeed will always be my proudest achievement.

Drawing from my own experiences having been in your shoes, my role is rooted in not only practical guidance but authenticity, personality and open conversation. I like to use my first lesson to build rapport and understand where specifically my student needs help before building an action plan. I use the start of each lesson to allow each student to voice any concerns they have or advice points before we begin the substantive content, where we will go through papers, questions and technique based on our action plan.
• Lesson Length: One hour
• Qualifications/experience: GCSEs 7-9, A-Level 4 As, Upper 2:1 LLB Durham University. 5 years' experience teaching English and mentoring prospective or undergraduate law students.
• Levels taught: KS2 English, GCSE English Language, Undergraduate students and recent graduates
