About Maya

I’m a PhD-qualified Immunologist with a strong background in Biomedical Science and Molecular Medicine. My passion for teaching comes from a genuine desire to help students understand complex scientific ideas and see how they connect to the real world. I aim to make every lesson clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs — helping them build confidence and a lasting appreciation for science.

About the lesson

As a PhD-qualified Immunologist with a strong background in Biomedical Science and Molecular Medicine, I believe effective learning comes from understanding, not memorisation. My tutoring approach is highly personalised — I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual learning style, academic level, and goals. Whether you’re preparing for exams, refining your research skills, or strengthening your understanding of complex scientific concepts, I focus on building confidence through clear explanations, interactive discussions, and real-world examples. My aim is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student can reach their full potential.
