About Lily
I am a high school student with 11 AP tests already under my belt. I completed AP Calculus BC 9th grade and college-level Linear Algebra my 10th. As an advanced math enthusiast, I love helping peers and students find confidence in such a crucial subject and discover what learning techniques work best for them. I studied the Secondary Mathematics and Middle School Level Classes at an accelerated pace on my own, so I learned firsthand the difference between learning math how it made sense to me and learning math in a generalized class. Math is special in how there often are many ways to perform the same process; similarly, there are many ways to learn math, and I love how teaching one-on-one can help strengthen students' understanding.

I like to focus on teaching how the student learns. As a student myself I understand that not all people learn the same way. Lessons will be specific to the students struggles and strengths, and focused on confidence and understanding rather than memorizing formulas and processes. Lessons are offered for all ages High school and younger, with experience in Calculus and Linear algebra for advanced learners.
