Hi! I’m Kannan, a professional photographer and cinematographer based in Thunder Bay with over 9 years of experience in the field. I’ve worked on weddings, events, creative shoots, and commercial projects, helping clients tell their stories through powerful visuals. Photography has been my passion for years — it’s what drives me every day. Over time, I’ve learned not just the technical side of cameras and lighting, but also how to see beauty in everyday moments. As a tutor, I’m patient, friendly, and love teaching in a way that makes photography simple and fun. My goal is to help you build confidence behind the camera and develop your own creative eye. You’ll be learning from someone who truly loves what they do — and who wants to see you grow, step by step.

Hey! I’m Kannan, I’ve shot everything from weddings and events to creative projects here in Thunder Bay.
My lessons are super chill and hands-on — perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to get better at photography. I’ll teach you how to use your camera (or even your phone), find good lighting, frame your shots, and edit your photos like a pro using Lightroom.
We’ll learn by doing — going out, taking photos, and talking through what works and what doesn’t. I want you to feel confident behind the camera and have fun while learning.
