I like my students to fully undestand the topic before answering questions, and the best way to do this, according to my personal experiences, is by having conversations about the topics and discussing what the student doesn’t understand so well and progressing from there.

Background: Hi guys, my name is Serena and I am 21 years old. I have just graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Education Studies and Psychology. I am an aspiring teacher and I am looking to embark on my PGCE teacher training course this September in Psychology.
First year student at the University of Nottingham studying psychology. Offering tutoring from 10 years (can be younger) up until A levels in Geography, Psychology and PE. I have mostly studied the AQA specification however some of my GCSE courses were from Edexcel and OCR so I am also able to offer help with this.
My teaching methos would vary depending on the learning style of the student. We would focus on areas that needed improvement most and undertake activites to compound understanding.
I base each class on your needs. Lessons will be tailored to meet the requirements of the assignment you are working on. I use a variety of methods including good-old fashion texts as well as online tools so replicate real-life university scenarios. As a tutor, I am kind and patient but I will push you to your limit to make sure you achieve your best.
I teach all my lessons based on individual pupils needs.
My teaching method is very fun and upbeat. I ensure that my tutees absorb a great deal of knowledge in a short period of time as I’m very time conscious.
I tutor in schools and privately, in person and over the internet, for ambitious candidates to elite universities, both in the UK and internationally. I aim for each lesson to be (as far as possible) a kind of improvisational dialogue, a site to have fun, push boundaries, and subject adventurous lines of inquiry to critical scrutiny.
I will discuss this with students in the introductory half an hour: - whether the student requires a brainstorming of ideas for their application; - suggestions as to the content of their piece of writing; or - proofreading of the application at various stages. I am happy to meet in person, discuss their application via telephone or skype, or contact via email correspondence.
My teaching method is helping students to understand the assignment and apply their knowledge to the real practical business world
Firstly i study and understand the topic and then i summarise the topic to the student in an easy way so that they will understand it properly. I also can help students with tips to learn faster.
I am dedicated to helping you achieve your professional goals with my “made to measure”, one to one, personalised English language tuition! After 20 years of working within both Government organisations and private business, I decided to combine my knowledge of the culture and language of those places plus their recruitment processes, with my love of teaching English which I did part time.
I believe that teaching methods depend on the individuals needs and ways of learning. Each student learns in a different manner whether it is visual, repetitive, or read. I believe that individual tutoring gives a student the opportunity to learn in a style most suited to them to help there succeed.
Combination of lecturing methods, discussions and demonstrations whilst including easy examples to relate to, technology and simpler explanations to build upon
I am able to teach a Class based class, and people with disabilities.
I like doing one to one tutorial session as I believe that each student learn at different pace. By doing one to one session, the student will feel more relax and won't feel intimated in doing a class tutorial and will be able to ask questions. I don't really have a teaching technique.
I approach each topic by shaping the lessons in a way that interests the student, we are more likely to learn and achieve if we are engaged. Learning should be interesting and fun and I aim to achieve this in all of my lessons.
My teaching method is keeping it fun , if you enjoy learning it’s more memorable! , and helps in exams if you remember what you did in different activities. I specialise in ages 5-11 although GCSE and A-Level tutoring is available. I tutor my sister who is currently studying for her GCSEs.
I'm an undergraduate at Loughborough University studying English and Drama, I'm planning on becoming a prep school teacher so I'm very excited to get all the experience I can at tutoring. My lessons are based around you, come to the session with whatever it is you want to work on and we'll sort our way through it at your pace.
I can be very traditional in my approach but have a proven track record with students presenting to the Houses of Parliament, European Parliament, Student Conferences as well as presenting their UG academic research projects on BBC radio. I encourage students to read around the subject area, engaging different perspectives before putting pen to paper or fingers to keyboards.
