My method based on involving my students in practicing lesson more and more because practice makes a man perfect.
I have coached sports and tutored for a number of years in practical and theoretical settings. I base my support on the individuals needs and ambitions and enjoy seeing others achieve and succeed.
My strategy of teaching is to ensure I enlighten the student or group. If I can achieve this then they will want to continue learning and adapting a new way of thinking positively! Everyone learns and obsorbs information at different stages, so I'm here to make sure everyone is on the same page.
My approach to teaching and supporting students is instilling a love and passion for their subjects, building an innate interest which motivates the student to lead their own active participation, originating from a calm, fun and challenging learning environment. My lessons are resourceful, well planned and challenge every child to active their potential.
I give lessons to students ranging from 11 years upwards with no upper limits. My teaching style is friendly but I do like to reinforce a topic until the student is confident in what they have learned and are fluent enough to attempt and master challenging problems analytically.
I am a friendly and outgoing person who bases her lessons upon the person I am teaching. Having played sport for many years, I totally understand and appreciate that teaching styles need to be adapted for each person to ensure they are learning the most from each lesson.
Initially teaching will be going through the syllabus; chapter by chapter.
I use the unique insight gained from both my PhD in Mathematics and broad teaching experience to emphasise the intuitive nature of the subject (drawing parallels between topics) and to simplify problem-solving processes.
I try to find an area which students enjoy and bring that into my teaching, so as it is more fun and not such a chore, without the students noticing. I prefer to focus on an area which the student may find difficult and to build their confidence in that area with a variety of methods.
I like to make learning fun and interactive, I have worked in primary schools for 5 years and created curriculum content for an educational software company. I am patient and enjoy seeing students improve and gain in confidence. I have taught all primary subjects but specialise in English.

I encourage my students to feel passionate about business studies, as I believe enthusiasm to learn is a key pre-indicator of success. In order to achieve this enthusiasm I personalise the classes and various topics in order to suit the student. I would also regularly create flash tests in order to recap their memory, and motivate them to keep on-top of study.
I try to focus on listening and speaking skills,as these are the areas where pupils lack confidence. One to one tuition develops oral fluency and competence. In between sessions, I set written and listening tasks as homework.I support students via e-mail.
My teaching method is very much dependent on the student. I find some students just need the confidence when completing problems and so here many example questions can be attempted and the student will have a safe space to ask those 'silly' questions, while others need more help conceptually.
My approach is largely driven by the student, some of my pupils struggle with coursework. In that case we go through work that they have already produced and see where improvements can be made or a greater understanding of the material achieved. Some students love learning through pictures so we create mind maps together and talk through the material - it really depends on the student.
Lessons can vary depending on the topics - and of course the students! I usually base my methodology on the student themselves - for student's struggling with course work, we go through previous work and look to see where we can improve understanding of the material or improve the sentences themselves. For students we work best pictorially we create mind maps together and talk through the subject.
I am a mathematics and economic specialist having taught various economics programmes in international schools: GCSE, A-Levels, AP (American program), and IB (International Baccalaureate). My students' examination results are excellent. I have numerous testimonial letters to support this statement. I am passionate about my teaching.
My personal teaching methods would be in a EDIP format which means EXPLAIN, DEMONSTRATE, IMITATE & PRACTICE. I find this is the easiest technique to use when teaching as students pick it up quicker.
I base my classes on you and how you feel and want to do and I'll work around that area
I help people visually by giving ideas and formats by presenting those on paper and working for the best possible outcome
I believe in that the best way to motivate a student is to highlight and encourage their strengths, while challenging them to improve their capabilities. The key to all learning is practice. I can give you the tools, to make practicing an enjoyable pastime.
I am currently in U6th studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I completed my Maths A Level in 1 year and achieved an A*. I have some prior experience through one of my Prefect roles, in which I mentored a GCSE student in Mathematics last year. Explaining things at a different level, I carried him from a D to a very high B.
My lessons will be based around teaching exam techniques, analysing past papers, correcting mistakes and using these questions as teaching starting points.
I approve each individual differently and use the MTQ48 questionnaire to evaluate each individuals weak areas and help them overcome them
My teaching method is quite simple. Depending on the age and ability of the pupil we will analyse the course material, set targets and identify strengths and weaknesses to design personalised lesson plans focused on delivering results.
I tailor my tuition according to the student’s knowledge of a subject, and don’t assume they know more than they do. I enjoy helping people learn and progress.
Every student is unique in his or her own way. I will approach each student with their own ability and talent on how to learn something and help them along..
My teaching methodology is centred around the unique needs of each individual I teach - this has been learned through the amazing tutors who have helped me to excel in the English Language, but also through years of teaching and training people I have.
Hello, I am a recent Astrophysics graduate from Queens University Belfast and I want to help you with GCSE and A-level Mathematics and Physics in a relaxed and manageable way, tailored to the needs of each student. Before my degree I struggled with both subjects so I'm very familliar with how daunting maths and physics can be particularly when a deadline is approaching.
