I recognise that every student is unique and therefore everyone has their own learning style. I am open to adapt my teaching style to tailor it to each individual student whether that be through repetition, through games and mnemonics or making sure they understand first then getting them to teach their peers so that it stays in their mind forever.

Hello! My name is Annie and I have recently completed my Masters degree in neuroscience at UCL. I'm currently working on a neuroscience research project in London, whilst tutoring students. I mainly tutor biology, but also enjoy tutoring students in chemistry, English, geography and physics.
I am a recent graduate from The University of Sheffield with a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Management. I am pursuing a career in tutoring and teaching. I have been tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics for 3+ years.
My methodology depends on the needs and preferences of the student. Typically, I follow the recommended textbook for the student's subject specification and exam board and base my lessons on this. I take time to prepare presentations and aid students in making concise notes. Furthermore, I always test student's understanding and frequently provide revision material and exam questions.
I have just finished my A-Levels and achieved two As in Biology and Chemistry. Currently I am taking a gap year, and with the content fresh in my mind I would like to pass on my knowledge to the current GCSE and A-Level science students.

I am currently an undergraduate student at Kings College London (University of London) studying Dentistry. I am a hardworking individual and this is shown through my grades that I have received in all my exams. Also, I have experience with working with children from primary and secondary school, because of my voluntary roles.
I am currently a medical student, at a London university, offering teaching in biology, chemistry and physics up to A level standard. Lessons are given in a flexible teaching style and I prefer students to approach me with specific difficulties or topics they find hard to make the lessons more personal and useful to them.
My students consider me a highly effective teacher. I am experienced, well organised, motivated, enthusiastic, very supportive, with a good sense of humour; I establish rapport with my students.
My teaching method is slow and steady, I believe in the students watching and then diving straight into the exercises. Every child is different but I can cater to the different needs.
I prefer teaching at home because it means I have access too all my resources and as a result can provide more to those I'm helping and its more relaxed.
My flexible teaching style and lesson structures are based on the student's needs and objectives. I truly believe teaching is most succesful when there is mutual understanding and respect between both teacher and student. Whilst teaching I use a variety of study aids including textbooks, websites and examination papers.
In the introductory session I discuss with them on what they do not understand, by going through topics in their past exams. I'll give them a brief test and grade it to see for my self, ready for the next session. I discuss how to answer exam style questions and what exam boards are looking for in answers.

Clarity and communication is most important which are achieved by using studying techniques such as questioning, practice and visualisation.
