I go each week by what the student needs and requests. There's no point teaching something unrelated to their degree or A Level, so I'm always here to listen and accommodate their learning needs. I will work on small tasks for the tutee to take and work on in their own time that won't get in the way of their work but will help them progress.
-I am very enthusiastic and patient. -Also very willing to adapt to a student's way of learning. -Having a basic understanding of you is always important so that you can still have fun whilst you learn, with games, quizzes etc....
I work very structured and mostly student-driven. Dependant on interests of thr student the classes will be tailored to suit.
Lessons can either be focused on specific areas where the student wants to improve (in preparation for a particular exam for example), or alternatively I am very happy to teach a broader understanding of a topic.
I have always provided a positive learning environment for my students, maintaining an engaging and exciting classroom atmosphere and believe strongly in establishing positive relationships with students.
Hi , My names Sarah, Physiology grad and qualified nurse.

I have recently finished my A-levels in biology and chemistry achieving an A* in both. I am familiar with the AQA syllabus. my method is to start at the foundation of grasping the key concepts in detail and then looking at the wider picture, especially in weak areas. However, it is also important to develop the methods of revision and learning including techniques to remember concepts with ease.

I study Biology, Physics and Chemistry at A level as well as taking an Extended Project Qualification and am offering to teach all three at GCSE and AS level, along with GCSE English Literature and Language. I offer lessons in biology up to university level. I would approach lessons by asking the student what they feel they want to gain or focus on prior to the lesson, which ensures the best use of our time by focusing on the areas the student feels they need extra help with.
I'm a first year student at the University of Nottingham, however I live in Durham city. I have very good recent experience of the current exam system at school and how to get top marks in them. I would use my own experience of how best to learn and provided structured sessions around what topics your child would like to cover. I'm a very friendly and approachable girl who can communicate clearly.
My approach to tutoring will be to work with you or your child to identify their needs and provide appropriate assistance. I believe in specifically focusing on the students and setting the pace for them to ensure topics and concepts are not simply remembered for an exam but well understood.
I approach tutoring on a very flexible basis depending on what the student needs, be it, classes, developing understanding or helping with homework and revision. I have highly effective methods of communicating ideas and concepts as well as creative ways of remembering key information depending on learning preferences.
