My teaching method is read, write and repeat, a lot of learning is going over and over until you know it, with practical tips and hints to help people remember concepts and techniques through methods such a word association and mnemonic devices along with access to past papers to help consolidate and apply their learning to be prepared for the situation in any exam board.
I am an A-level student who achieved 10 A*s at GCSE. In my sessions I would focus on areas of the subject that the student particularly struggles with as well as- general revision, going through exam questions and help with homework. I find that being of a similar age to the students I am helping makes it easier for me to think of relatable analogies to assist with their leaning.
First sessions focus on understanding where the students problems lie and the key areas for improvement. I develop a teaching and learning cycle which is unique to how each student responds. Later sessions focus on exam practice and technique in how to get the best possible grades. I believe I am patient and understanding of the students difficulties and desired goals.
I am an Engineering Student studying in University of Birmingham. I am in my final year and will be graduating in July. Right from childhood I have passion for Maths, Physics and Chemistry and because of that my concepts are crystal clear.

My name is Connor Gillespie and I am a 17 year old maths, physics and chemistry student, currently studying at King Edwards VI college Stourbridge. I am hard working and hope to pass these assets on to my students.
I have more than thirty years of experience in teaching Chemistry to multi-ethnic and multinational cohorts in various parts of the world. The skills and professional experience which I acquired from these positions are immense as I had to deal with students from about forty different nationalities with a wide spectrum of abilities.
My teaching method is first making the learning enjoyable for every student.
I base my classes on what students are finding more difficult.
I make sure to try and adapt to each student’s individual needs and style of learning, while maintaining awareness the relevant areas of learning, making sure neither of us stray off topic.
Having struggled with the subjects initially myself, I understand why pupils find these subjects difficult and this helps with my explanation of difficult concepts.
I believe that problem solving is key to achieving high grades within the sciences. Therefore there will be practice exam questions and workshop like teaching. This will allow the student and I to understand key areas which will need more work.
Hi, I'm Nida, a young, confident and enthusiastic individual striving to help students towards their goals. I am currently Graduating my masters with a distinction at Coventry University, as well as working as a Forensic Analyst and running two businesses. For me, knowledge is power and independence, and when mastered correctly, one can become really successful.
For Maths and Physics, I have found that the two most important things to consider when learning are ensuring full comprehension, and practice. Since I'm tutoring alongside school teachers, I find the best approach is for the student to come to me with problems they are struggling with, so we can target and strengthen specific weaknesses and improve effectively.
There's no point repeating the lesson a student didn't understand initially in the classroom! In my sessions I like to build up from first principles- all I ask in return is that you (scientifically) question every aspect of my argument.
I am fully committed to providing the best support to students who need encouragement and confidence in Maths, Sciences, and English. I am DBS enhanced certified (November 2016). I also have First Aid Pediatric skills. I keep myself abreast with curriculum changes including the latest 1-9 and am able to work effectively to help individual students achieve their potential best.
I teach students a topic and try to solve past papers based on those topics to achieve best understandings of students as well as give them a sense of what questions will be like during exams.
In a one on one setting, I teach based on strengths and weaknesses of the particular student i.e. studying weaknesses 70% of the time while strengths have 30%. However, in a group setting where there's not enough time for one on one talks, I teach topics based on importance or weighting in the course. So more important topics would get 70% of the time while less important would get 30%.
Available to teach maths and all sciences from KS2 SATs to GCSE, and A level Biology. I prefer to teach in your home. I'm a qualified teacher and am DBS checked. When teaching, my methodology is simple and easy for the student to work to. It is to work with the student to not only improve the grades within the subject, but pass on my passion and interest towards the subject as well. I have always found that when the passion for a subject increases, the grades will soon follow.
I give Chemistry and Physics lessons from year 7 up to GCSE level. I enable students to reach their potential by complimenting their school work, working specifically on their areas of weakness. My teaching is primarily done alongside exercises, which I both use to gauge the development of my students as well as to identify topics which need more work.
My name is Luke Jones and i have finished my GCSE’s. I am aware of new specifications and achieved an A* in all of my exams. I can give others who are struggling help with maths, biology, chemistry, physics and many more related subjects as i have a direct understanding of what children of this age need and how they can learn it with ease.
I approach my first lessons by doing a general test/ evaluation of the student's understanding of the subject. Once marking and explaining the correct answers in detail, I will then work on the student's weak points with them. This will include creating posters, cheat-sheets, example questions while reassuring them that they are highly capable of improving.
I focus on understanding, using analogies to base key concepts in reality, building knowledge up on top of that, instead of hard memorization and regurgitation of facts. This allows people to not only use their knowledge where necessary but also infer and extrapolate information to solve problems where they lack the knowledge and have to think laterally.
