I am currently attaining a 2:1 in chemistry and the university of Hull. Talking at somebody for hours on end is in my opinion an inefficient use of time. I like to have my students interact with exam type problems and use experiments to see the true value behind why we study the sciences. This can lead to an ambition that starts with passing exams.
My teaching method is very simple, i like to approach the topic by explaining the topic then giving example(practical) to insert understanding and questions for student to test understanding, we will go trough question together. Then will give them homework.
I teach by going through examples and guiding the individual through a problem so they can fully understand the topic.
I have a very interactive , problem-solving approach and I'm always happy to learn from you guys as much as you do from me. I'm happy to work with young children all the way up to A-level as well as adult learners.
I use problem based learning and past paper questions to help students remember the topics covered for a long period of time , I also go off of the subject specific specification.
My teaching method is to watch what the student has to offer and see what ways i can improve the students knowledge. I will also try to summarise the key points of a topic to make it a lot easier to understand.
I am a 23 years old Chemistry Graduate willing to give private lessons to young students (up to 18 years old) struggling with Chemistry at School. I have just recently graduated from University and currently studying a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry.
My teaching method is professional but relaxed. I aim to offer lessons which focus on areas of concern highlighted by the student, whilst also providing an overview of essential topics. Tutor sessions will be interactive with questions and conversations about the topics being conducted in a friendly and low pressure environment.
I am kind and caring yet firm so I will base learning around the tutee and the support they need. I will help the young person by not only teaching them but helping them to develop the skills they will need in the future to be able to teach themselves and develop their knowledge.
An engineering student who taught children from the age of 9 to 17 years. I have taught key stage 2,3, GCSEs and A-levels. I have had an enormous success with my previous students as they progressed from grade F to grade A. I also believe motivation is key to young students overcoming their educational barriers, therefore I try my best to motivate students to achieve higher.
Making learning and teaching enjoyable by applying attention-management techniques and also innovative learning which also helps is both individual and group classes

I am a medical student who is currently taking a year out of medicine to study a Masters of Clinical Anatomy. I specialise in tutoring sciences or maths at GCSE or A-level. I have taught and tutored all Sciences to GCSE, and Chemistry and Maths to Degree level. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I am by heart and training a Chemical Engineer: so I am proficient in Chemistry and Maths to an advanced level. I'm also a good all round scientist too, and have several years' teaching experience in other science subjects such as Biology and Physics.
I am currently studying in Upton Court Grammar School aspiring to be a paediatrician one day. I have experience working at AE tuition with kids from year 3 to 5, teaching them English, VA, NVR, Maths and advanced Maths. I also have a lot of experience working with kids one to one preparing them for their SATS and GCSE'S. I believe the key to success is determination.
I aim to give maths, chemistry and physics lessons to students up to, and including AS Level I approach teaching with a fun and can do attitude in order to keep students on task and prevent them from switching off. I tend to engage with students regularly, asking them questions and giving them a chance to respond rather than just talking at them for the full session.
I start from the beginning to scaffold the learning and then slowly over time remove that. This is to build up QWC and application of knowledge which are featuring prominently in the new GCSE's.
