My teaching method is relaxed and encouraging. To begin with I like to try and find out what they know about the subject they need help with and what they feel they need help with. I will then formulate a lesson plan for each student individually.
I base my class on the individuals and their unique learning needs and methods I also base on appearance and the way they would treat with manners and politeness.
I like to teach in a way that makes students excited about their own ideas and work, in a calm welcoming atmosphere. I want my students to feel like we are a team when working together, like a friend, and push them to get the result they are after. My teaching methods start with understanding who the student is, and how they like to work.
I have a depth of knowledge in footwear design and development. I can advise on trend research, shoe last shapes and heel constructions through to creating a collection of shoes for women and children. I have experience of working with factories in the Far East and Europe and have worked in couture houses as a milliner for Philip Treacy.
