My teaching method is essentially based on powerpoint and going through the readings together sometimes. However, I am quite flexible about teaching method since each has a unique level of understanding and learning. Considering this, I open to various teaching method based on the student's suggestion.
I believe in customizing the lesson and a lot of out of the box tricks to make it both fun and effective for students to learn Arabic/Hebrew, International Relations, Pharmacy and Biology. Passionate about International Relations and Global Affairs that no mat-ter how hard the subject may seem for you, I'll infect you with my pas-sion and you would enjoy the lesson.
My teaching methodology is to always being from the student point of strength and work towards areas for development. A successful approach has been to first gage specific topics students and interested in within the subject area to build confidence to tackle other areas.
Subjects are approached thematically, and when possible chronologically for topics analysed from a historical perspective. Emphasis is placed on the teaching of mainstream narratives along with skills in critical knowledge for its evaluation which is vital for essay based subjects.
My teaching method is to firstly assess where the student is struggling, and why that is the case. In addition to this, my method includes attempting to understand the teacher's approach to the subject, in order to avoid any confusion.
My teaching method is perfect for those who depend on one on one sessions. I like to identify from the student a specific area and then delve into a variety of specifics and details that are relevant to their question. I typically will ask them to answer some questions verbally to see if they understand what I've been talking about.
My teaching methods are rather straight forward but can change in terms of approach depending on the kinds of help needed, or the level of said tutee.
I am at the end of my first year at the university of Bristol, studying politics and international relations. I first came to love politics though studying it at AS level alongside with geography. Through this time, I found strategic ways to study the syllabus whilst making the content relevant to current events, of which I shared with my fellow class.
I'm a flexible and patient tutor who loves to learn and is keen to help, with an great interest into general knowledge and analysis of politics - Depending on what you need help on we will study/discuss we will go on a modified syllabus for general studies, or one of the three topics below.
My teaching technique involves: - Bringing history to life with concrete, real-world examples - Helping students in Analysis and evaluation of sources - Helping students analyse and evaluate different interpretations of historical events - Analysis of similarity and differences, causes and effects of important events.
My priority is always to make sure that students will find something intresting for them in the subject. Then I am always trying to get them to think about the processes rather than simply getting them to remember facts. That way they get tools whoch help them remember the facts more easily.
• Teaching GCSE History, AS and A2 History and Government & Politics • I am a big believer in visual learning. History and Politics can often become too abstract so I like to visually represent the connections between ideas, events, etc. on a piece of paper or whiteboard to give a much clearer picture.
I have been teaching International relations to University of London's International program students for last couple of years now; my teaching technique is simple and effective, it's more of study group kind of approach, with a lot of room and freedom for students to get relaxed and comfortable to actually understand the complexities of global Geo-politics.
My method is dialectic: I love to help student explore the subjects themselves which helps them aquire deep understanding of the topic and let's them critically reason about it. However, I consider my biggest strength that I can swiftly find where to student is stuck on the process of understanding and help her/him overcame these occasions barriers.
My teaching approach encourages the student to come up with their own solutions to the academic problems they face. It focusses on developing the student's critical thinking skills and preparing them to excel independently as they progress with their education.
I would identify the specific areas that the sudent is struggling with, and work from there. I would give the student a greater understanding of the concepts, as well as working on essay writing techniques. Moreover, I hope to boost the student's confidence and interest in the subject.
My teaching method revolves around having a good sense of humour and try to ease the stress of exam season. Less of a focus on memorising information, and more of a focus on being able to apply that information in an exam scenario.
I approach tutoring from a person centred approach, helping people to pinpoint their obstructions to understanding and work through those together. I like to be creative with a subject to create a memorable learning experience but will largely work from the academic criteria set to help students reach their goals.
I emphasise essay structure and planning above all else as well as coping with time pressures in exam conditions. I then focus on study methods to remember facts to incorporate into essays as well as critically analysing various different arguments.
I have found that the best approach to teaching is to know what exactly the student knows and understands. What are their strengths and weaknesses. Afterwards I can create a method of instruction dedicated to that student. I usually give lessons to other university students, particularly those in lower years than I. However I believe I could also help college students doing A-Levels.
I can teach anyone up to degree level geography. My lessons will have a creative approach and are very much tailored to each individual student as no one learning style suits everyone.
As a young adult I understand the importance of pressure and stress when it comes to deadlines but also the importance of self confidence, determination and concentration in all aspects of academic life.
I want to follow the student's syllabus and then have the content I teach directed at that. For most subjects, practice is usually a good idea so I would encourage weekly practices be done and we can go through them during class.
Innovative programme development. Job training expertise. Intensively motivational techniques. Role Play theatrical. from Secondary/Middle School to Adult students all have been taught or supervised to a very high standard.
My teaching methodology is to help you to learn understand re enact and enjoy learning about all sorts of time periods and how the past affects the present
