I provide lessons to primary school and high school students (mostly GCSE). I focus on a student's weaknesses and turn them into strengths by helping them tackle problems in a classroom then exam style questioning system. I am a fair and honest tutor who always has your best interests at heart.
I am a GCSE student who understands maths at a high level thus willing to offer help to any other GCSE student needing support in maths. My teaching methods and techniques revolve around the student allowing myself to fluctuate between different teaching styles.
I am a university student who has passed 12 GCSE's, with 3 A levels also, based in Blackburn, I'm a helpful character and will work through all homework and any other lessons which may be needed with the student. English teaching can also be given if asked, for secondary and Primary school students.
I am currently doing a degree in primary school teaching due to this I automatically have a DBS Certificate. I am only 20 years old so I still have a fresh memory on the topics at GCSE and As-Level, my specialities are maths and sciences, however I can teach English at KS2 level. Looking for a way to gain more experience for my future career as a teacher.
My teaching methodology is different for every student. Teaching a class of student has taught me every student in unique and every student has a different way of learning and adapting.
My teaching method is ‘low tech approach to learning’. I start the first session with an informal chat for 15 mins then some worksheets and a informal sheet. This approach usually then has students comfortable which allows them to freely express themselves what problems they're may be facing and allows me to understand what kind of learner the student is going to be.
I understand the students struggle and reinforce them with different methods of learning in order for the student to understand and remember. To push the student with a test and and revision after every teaching session in order for them to study at home and practice what they have learned.
I tailor my approach to the individuals being taught. I have a methodological approach to explaining complicated concepts and am able to break down difficult concepts in to bite-size and easier to digest sections. I am patient and create my own teaching material from current curriculum in order to help with teaching and to challenge students further.
I am mathematics degree students and am offering to teach maths and possibly science lessons also. I currently teach at a high school as a student teacher so I have knowledge of KS3 & 4 maths but I am also capable of going beyond that and have the ability to teach at other levels also.
I believe my approach would be to try and pin point a student's struggling points and give them attention. By working through examples and providing walkthroughs on the process. Making sure to progress at the speed of the individual. I don't think there is 1 way to teach everyone. But by seeing what is most productive for each and taking it from there.
Teaching each that the student needs to know in the most efficient way.
So I have never taught before but I feel after going through the education system since I was 5 I would be able to get across better to kids rather an older person who may bore them or even intimidate them.

I am a patient medical student. I offer chemistry and mathematics at primary, junior/high school, and sixth form levels. I work with the school's curriculum. I am flexible, hence, I offer various techniques and methods of teaching depending on my student's style and abilities. I am able to identify my student's level and pace of learning.
I approach each topic one by one each lesson depending on the confidence of the student and I will use visual learning and also sit down with students to have 1 to 1 feedback and test them at regular intervals.
I teach lessons tailored to the preferred learning styles of the students, differentiated if teaching a group of pupils. I prefer teaching to mastery rather than rote learning to exams although I understand when there is a need for such.
I will test you and whatever you are falling behind in I will help you in that, I will do whatever it takes to help you as much as I can

To teach GCSE level and below. I believe the best way to learn maths is by practice therefore for teaching methods I would preferably teach a mathod to calculate the correct answer and then move on to practice questions in order to know how to apply said method to any given situation.
Making sure that students understand thoroughly every stage of calculation and Topic as a whole. Go with the pace of students understanding. Providing plenty of examples and breaking down every tricky parts of the question. Friendly teaching so students can confidently seek further help in case of they did not understand the method initially.
