The best way to begin teaching is by getting to know what methods suits the students. I break down what needs to be taught into categories, and go through each category as if it is its own subject. The first couple of times I tutor, I will present information in a range of ways and keep note of what methods help advance individual's learning the most.
My approach in term of teaching is to make it as practical and enjoyable as possible, not only very formal sessions.I use a combination of teaching methods and tools including one to one discussion (explaining/ question and answer), visual reinforcement (animation/ video images), example questions.
My teaching experience ranges from Primary Level Maths to Degree Level Maths. I am very adaptive to the students level of understanding. My teaching technique is to take care of all the students and move forward to next topics so that everybody are no same note. I use real time examples to make it easy for students to get connected to the complex topics.
I am originally from London but moved over to Northern Ireland to study a BSc in Mathematics at Queens University, Belfast. I am currently studying a Masters Degree in Data Analytics, also at Queens University. I have previous experience helping other students at the University to learn and understand Mathematics more clearly.
I am a QUB maths student currently sitting on a First. At the moment I am studying mostly Quantum Mechanics but I have in the past studied a combination of pure and applied maths and statistics. In school I achieved A*s in GCSE Maths and Additional Maths (now called Further Maths), and A*, B in Maths and Further Maths at A-level respectively.
I feel that students learn best with interactive lessons and react well to visuals. My teaching methods include presenting a full explaination, allowing time for questions and the use of videos to back up knowledge. I recommend that students make notes using bright colours as this makes learning fun and notes easier to remember.
I believe the best way to learn is through understanding, memorization is also key but it is not the only factor. I try to make the process of learning a simple and enjoyable one. However some concepts can be harder to grasp than others. For this reason I tend to favor, what I call, the IED RDP* Method to teaching maths: Identify, Explain, Demonstrate, Replicate, Deviate, Perfect.
My teaching methodology would be to not only help students tackle the problems they face, but try and always aim for a broader comprehension of the specific subject we are looking at, and its connection with other subjects. By doing so, I aim to give valuable landmarks for mental navigation, and help students build up confidence in using Maths.
Having studied GCSE Maths, Additional Maths and A-Level Maths, I desire to teach those who need a little extra help to boost their grades, to encourage them to achieve the best grades they can with specific help.
I am a recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering with an experienced background in Mathematics. I would start a lesson by talking through the theory of whatever the topic is, providing worked examples so that a student can see first hand how it is used and how to complete it, then questions will be provided for the students to answer, and assistance will be provided if necessary.
I scored an average of 90 in all of my math-related classes since I was a secondary school student. I am currently studying in Queen's University Belfast with a major of math and statistics. My lessons will be student-oriented, which means I will develop unique teaching method for every student based on their own trait.
My undergraduate major is mathematics, and I graduated from a Normal University which is a professional university to cultivate teachers. I have been a math tutor about 1800 hours, i have rich experiences to deal with the math problems and enough skills to teach students master what they should know.
I have been a good student and then a good teacher at a reputed institute in India. I am a product of reputed IITK. I have clarity so you will have clarity as simple as it can be.
“Don’t work on a question until you get it right. Work on it until you can’t get it wrong” I will target each topic for the student to cover and would constantly refer back to them. No student will be taught the same way. Some will be taught differently based on what they find easier to understand, so they are able to use the concepts learnt to answer past year questions.
As a tutor I would check in with the student(s) to find out what they would like to focus on. I will check what they are confident in and build from there. I am a very patient person and emphatic that not everyone picks up everything as the same pace so I would personalise the lesson to the individual(s).
My approach is to really help students understand mathematics, using when needed, visual diagrams and showing proofs to fully explain each step of working.
I base my teaching on the notes given by my teachers, revision books, and text books that I found helpful and ones that I have used to teach others. I also make my own revision booklets and worksheets to supplement my students' learning.
I base my teaching on the students needs, if they feel they are falling behind on practical side I will help them get to grips with that. Or if it is exams they need help with we can organise past paper help to ensure they feel comfortable answering exam style questions.
I give lessons to students up to A-Level in Mathematics. My techniques are simple. I address a topic and explain the main concepts of the topic. I then use these concepts to work through examples similar to that of past paper questions. I then answer any queries from the students.
Economics with finance graduate that has achieved A in both mathematics and business studies at A Level. You ask me questions and i give detailed answers with a step by step instruction as to how it can be achieved.
I am passionate about my subject. The style of lesson is that I do notes first, practise with some examples, then let the student try some examples. I will use past paper questions. The lesson is 30 minutes long.

I am a university student who gives Maths lessons to Secondary school students. Having being tutored myself at school, I am aware of using different methods and techniques (as simplistic) to answer questions if someone finds a certain way difficult to understand. I find learning through examples a lot more beneficial than reading a lot of extra information around the topic.
While I haven't tutored before I am a patient, understanding individual. I am very visual in my methods and can provide alternative ways of thinking about things so they are easier to understand. My lessons would be well thought out and planned well in advance to suit the student most effectively.
I always carry out an assessment with every new child I tutor. From this assessment I assess what areas need to be covered or what we need to work on. The approach I use also depends on the individual child.
My teaching method is The demonstrator, based in showing students what they need to know. The demonstrator is a lot like the lecturer, but their lessons include multimedia presentations, activities, and demonstrations.
I like to break lessons down into manageable parts for the student. I am aware that all students learn in different ways and differing speeds, so lessons need to be tailored to the individual or group.
I design my tutoring around the individual student, assessing strengths and weaknesses. Understanding the Methods make the process of problem solving easier for all of us. Making mistakes helps us learn.
My teaching method is to provide proper guidances to students to make sure that that understand what that are learning
