I have completed my GCSEs recently and have continued my studies by taking maths, further maths, physics and geography as A levels. Since I’ve recently experienced GCSEs, I know how to follow the specification and how to approach tests with the right attitude. I can also teach primary and secondary education.
I prefer to work through past papers and discover any significant gaps in knowledge to then work through in more detail. If students struggle specifically with certain topics, I like to start on fairly easy questions to first build up confidence in the subject. Especially in subjects like maths, I think confidence makes all the difference.
I truly believe that everyone is able to be successful with mathematics. I design my lessons to build on previous knowledge, increase confidence and head for success. This is tailored to each individual student by analysing past work and mock exams. I am familiar with the Edexcel and AQA curriculum and the recent changes to the GCSE syllabus.

I believe that everyone learns differently. We can figure out the best way you/your child learns and take that approach. As I am only 21 it means that I will have probably learnt the content more recently than other tutors.
I believe that the best way to learn is to make every effort to understand each concept by using lots of different methods and will bring that approach to my tutees. The moment a student starts to understand a concept is a fantastic moment for both tutor and tutee and this method ensures that everything is not forgotten the next day.
I believe in inspiring students and building their confidence. I think all students are capable of maths, and like to provide a comfortable atmosphere where students are able to ask questions without fear of retribution. I aim to consolidate and extend the knowledge a student already has.
My teaching method is very practical. I can teach up to A level standard. I will refer directly to the syllabus with use of lot's of past papers and techniques which I used when revising for my own exams. Adapting as I go for each individual student.

First understand the fundamental concepts and get a general insight on them, then to attempt questions that challenge the deeper understanding. Then finally, correct the questions and pinpoint the holes in the knowledge and understanding.
