Able to teach mathematics from basics before GCSE level all the way to A level. Before the lesson even starts I would gain a grasp of the student's prior knowledge on the topic and consolidate any gaps in knowledge before presenting new ideas. My personal aim is to not just learn the content but understand and apply to unusual situations as per any examinations.
Hello. I am Macauley. I am a recent Physics graduate living in Birmingham. In July 2017 I obtained a Physics Bsc hons degree from the University of Kent with a 2:1 degree mark. I have particular interests in medical physics and radiation physics. I am able to teach physics at secondary (GCSE) level , AS level and A-level.
Maths and Physics can definitely be overwhelming, but if you work with me I'll break down the main bits of information with mnemonics for example, so you can relate and understand more easily. I'm Anthony top student teaching GCSE & below.
My teaching method is first making the learning enjoyable for every student.
I base my classes on what students are finding more difficult.
My name is Connor Gillespie and I am a 17 year old maths, physics and chemistry student, currently studying at King Edwards VI college Stourbridge. I am hard working and hope to pass these assets on to my students.
I give Chemistry and Physics lessons from year 7 up to GCSE level. I enable students to reach their potential by complimenting their school work, working specifically on their areas of weakness. My teaching is primarily done alongside exercises, which I both use to gauge the development of my students as well as to identify topics which need more work.
I use a question and answer technique and use assignments to test and instruct the students. I am reliable, dynamic and dependable person. my personality shows whom I am and entices whoever I meet. I am eager to demonstrate sound knowledge of the subjects.
I would only really give lessons to those students who really want to learn as i believe they are the students who thrive and this is usually A-level students. The style of my teaching is different for every student because no student is the same, but i always make sure that i never leave the student behind, only proceeding once the student is happy.
I am an Engineering Student studying in University of Birmingham. I am in my final year and will be graduating in July. Right from childhood I have passion for Maths, Physics and Chemistry and because of that my concepts are crystal clear.
I have more than 7 years of teaching experience and I'm nearing completion of my PhD research in Environmental Toxicology at the University of Birmingham. I provide private home lessons ( 2 days a werk) to A level students, GCSCE, Undergraduate, Adult Education and Masters students. I am patient, compassionate, Honest and would support you to move onto the next level of education.
As I have recently sat my own GCSE exams I have perfect knowledge of how to prepare for them rigorously and achieve your full potential in the chosen subjects. My methods would be specific to the student but I will make sure that they understand all the concepts and get enough practice to remember them in the long run.
I'll start teaching from basics if a student knows basics then I'll start from whatever he/she wishes to learn.
I have taught students at University and sixth form for many years in the UK and Europe. My teaching is set around your questions and problems. I don't have set structured classes, instead I tailor it around you. Previous students have been awarded scholarships, university entry and are happily studying for their degrees.
I am Shahid Mehmood. I am a learner or student myself first, and I am also good at conveying to others what knowledge and skills I have grasped myself. I can teach in a classroom, in small groups, online, and in one-to-one settings.
I focus on understanding, using analogies to base key concepts in reality, building knowledge up on top of that, instead of hard memorization and regurgitation of facts. This allows people to not only use their knowledge where necessary but also infer and extrapolate information to solve problems where they lack the knowledge and have to think laterally.
I can effortlessly teach chemistry to anyone below degree level and easily help them achieve a top grade. I can do this by looking at your past exam answers and analysing where your level of understanding is incomplete. That is where I will focus to enable you to have the best opportunity to do well. I can also teach up to second year degree level chemistry.
I am a first year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Birmingham. I will base my tutoring around questions and topics which you submit to me so that we can focus on areas that you struggle on the most. If preferred I can structure the tutorials myself based around your assessment needs. I can also provide exam and study technique help.
I make sure to try and adapt to each student’s individual needs and style of learning, while maintaining awareness the relevant areas of learning, making sure neither of us stray off topic.
I am a Mechanical Engineer studied from the University of Leeds UK. I have my undergraduate in Production Engineering with honors. I have worked with different manufacturing companies. Recently I got my TESOL certification from International House London. My teaching methodology is student oriented and focused.
I can teach Maths, Sciences and Spanish up to GCSE level and Maths, Further maths, Physics and Spanish up to A-level. I received A*A*A in my A-levels and have a deep understanding in all these topics - and can explain things logically and keep things as simple as possible.
I am a mechanical engineer and I wish to teach Physics and Mathematics to Secondary and junior level students, build their bases the way I wish mine were built. Student-friendly yet firm about the results. Conceptual grasp of subjects mentioned.
My teaching method is explaining difficult subjects in a very basic and understandable way so that once the topic is finally understood in it's most basic form, I can finally introduce more subject-specific terminology. I prefer to teach one on one to so I can focus fully on one person's understanding.
I approach my first lessons by doing a general test/ evaluation of the student's understanding of the subject. Once marking and explaining the correct answers in detail, I will then work on the student's weak points with them. This will include creating posters, cheat-sheets, example questions while reassuring them that they are highly capable of improving.
I was born into a family of educators who instilled in me a love of learning.I earned my Bachelor of Engineering degree from Anna University India 2014 ,after that I have worked for 3 years in one of the leading Multi National Company called Wartsila India Ltd and presently pursuing my Masters in Electrical Power systems Engineering in the University of Birmingham UK.
In the past, I have tutored pupils in 2 ways: by helping them understand concepts they were struggling with in school, and guiding them through questions (often written by myself) until they did not need any help to complete the questions; and I have also taught completely new topics from scratch, in a case where a pupil was taking a higher level examination than his classmates.
Since many of you find maths difficult, my way of teaching is very practical, something to which you can easily relate to.
I tutor: Maths KS2 - GCSE Physics KS3 - A Level, University preparation We can work together develop a program suited to your needs and style of learning. That may include revision of material, teaching of new material or extension material, going through practice questions, and working on revision techniques to help retain information.
I'm a 2nd year University of Birmingham Physics student giving lessons in maths and physics up to A level standard. As a tutor I build an understanding of the theory of topics, providing and working through example questions to further solidify both knowledge and understanding.
I will start with a quick chat to ask where pupil wants help, then test some basic skills and correct those straight away, then gradually increase difficulty. I am very patient and always looking for a different angle to explain something if it's not understood the first time.
