My teaching method is extremely interactive, as I believe we, as young people learn by getting involved. I will spend some time picking out specific topics which students class as their weaknesses, set and mark homework frequently, and give regular feedback.
I was often recognised for my tutoring in school as I spent a lot of time helping younger students who struggled with sciences and maths. I have just finished my A Levels and am starting an Engineering Apprenticeship at The Dyson Institute. I teach by asking questions and making you think for yourself. I often won’t tell you the answer if you ask me something.
I have been tutoing Mathematics and Physics for last 15 years in different countries including UK.I аm pаssiоnаte аbоut my subject аnd very fаmiliаr with the current requirements in the curriculum. - Which subject(s) do you teach? GCSE Mathematics IGCSE Mathematics GCSE Add Mathematics GCSE Statistics along with course work.
My teaching method is firat to see the level the student is at. The method will also change if preparing for a specific exam. I like to focus on the area the pupil finds most difficult as well as doing problems that build a stable knowledge of a maths/physics on which most problems are based. The key is to get the basics and work from there rather than jumping straight in.
Recieved 1st class masters degree from cambridge university in physics. Teach maths and physics from AS to undergraduate level, and can also assist with entrance exams. In lessons I like the student to direct to particular areas where there are problems that can be worked through together, but am also happy to give introductions to topics or overviews.
Whether you are looking for long term lessons to build confidence and reinforce understanding, or if you need some revision and exam practice on the lead up to exams then our expertise and friendly approach will help you on the way to success.
mathematics covered between primary to a-level / level 3, including algebra, trigonometry, calculus and statistics and more. These sessions are taught to the students pace and with visual and real world applications. Physics covered between primary to a-level / level 3, including mechanics, electromagnetism, nuclear radiation and more.
I nearly always begin a topic by reference to real-life applications from the world of engineering and /or day to day machines. Once I have established how something works I then go to describe/define the actual Physics being used. I make as much use of pictures and graphs (when appropriate) or if a student is mathematically inclined I refer to equations.
I am passionate about science in general, and physics in particular. I find it easy to communicate this enthusiasm to others. I am convinced of the profound role of education in the creation and preservation of a just society. I have an empathic and sympathetic personality. I value diversity of experience and viewpoints, and respect the competence and skills of others.
I am adaptable to the tutoring desires of each student and would tailor my teaching accordingly. I can offer specific exam technique targeted tutoring for the science subjects, breaking down how to do past paper questions as I have always found this the method for exam success. If an understanding of the theory is the primary issue, I can break subjects down and start from first principles.
I am an undergraduate student in Physics at Imperial College London, having just finished 2nd year the structure and content of the exams you are taking are still fresh in my mind. My lessons are tailored to suit the individual, whether you want to go over content taught in class or try practice questions with a little guidance.
Hi, I am a student currently in Lower Sixth (y12) studying maths, further maths, Spanish and physics. At GCSE, I achieved 11 A*s and 2 As. These include A*s in Maths, Further maths, Additional maths, and an A in Further Pure maths. I can give lessons up to gcse in Maths, sciences, Music, Spanish and French. I can also teach Maths up to an AS level.
My approach is pupil focused. I will adapt to the needs of the learner. My aproach will assess where a pupil is at. Then work on how best to help the pupil make progress. I also hope to enspire passion for science learning in the pupil.
Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and qualified to teach all areas of the New Primary Curriculum, I provide interesting and engaging lessons designed to appeal to children aged between 5 and 11. I strongly believe that all children can progress given the right environment, and am pleased to be able to facilitate this.
I am currently an intern with GE Aviation and a MSc Software Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I've completed my BSc in Aerospace Engineering with an addition Minor in Applied Mathematics.
I help A level, GCSE students who want to achieve the best grades they can in maths/science-based subjects. I like to work through questions in order to identify what skills need improving. I like to try and explain difficult-to-remember or understand concepts by simplifying them into fun mnemonics.
I think the best way is to discover the student's learning style, as everyone is different. From there I can adapt my approach based on what comes most naturally to each student, but I think regular repetition is important for virtually everyone and making sure the student participates as much as possible and has their own input rather than the teacher speaking all the time.
I will adapt to the your needs to find out the best way for you to learn. We can focus on specific areas or give all round help. Effective learning is enhanced by a positive experience so I will strive to make lessons fun and interesting.
I have a very good understanding of the national curriculum and an excellent knowledge of all the subjects I teach. With that I can go into as much and as little detail as needed. I always find a way of linking subjects together and I break everything down to a simple explanations.
I try to cater to the students needs, by understanding their strengths and finding ways to relate their favourite subjects to Core subjects. I tutor primary right the way through to Alevel. I also tutor Music plus the flute, piano and voice.
My teaching method is based on understanding and practice. This involves step by step guidance through problems and ensuring that the student understands how to get to the solution rather than what the solution is.
