My teaching method is based on the pupils best way of learning. I feel that practice and repetition are the key to learning and exercises will be part of my lessons. I am happy to help the pupil find their own method of learning.
University Student studying Business Studies with Finance Best way to pass maths is to solve as many questions as many times as possible. if you can solve at least 12 questions on a topic, you can pass.
I like to break down subjects to their basics to ensure a full understanding of it. I like to use videos, drawings and abbreviations in order to help understanding and memory of the subject I'm teaching, and have no problem with going over a subject several times in order for it to be understood.
I graduated from the University of Brmingham with a degree in Mathematics studying various Pure and Applied modules. I will create bespoke lesson plans for my students after having an initial free introductory session with them to find out what key areas they would like to work on. Every lesson and approach will be tailored to student's personalities and skills.
I am a 18 years old student. I have strong passion for maths and planning to do a degree in Maths in university. I like teaching as I see it as an opportunity to spread the knowledge and when I teach someone, I get to pull something different out of the topic every time.
I have been tutoring Maths and English up to GCSE level for three years. Also having finished secondary school relatively recently, I know from experience what would be most effective in helping students achieve better grades. For example, constant timed exam practice for the students to familiarise themselves with exam "lingo" and what the examiner is expecting from them.
I can teach anyone who is finding difficulty in learning maths and accounting and make it easy for them. I like to break things down and make students learn in a smart manner. A well-planned approach is important to achieve good results. I ensure efforts are put in the right places to achieve maximum results .

I usually give lessons to those studying Maths GCSE and Maths/Further Maths A level. I can teach core, statistics and mechanics modules. Generally I start off by explaining topics and questions which the student hasn't grasped or understood, in a few different ways until they get it, and go through many practice questions while making sure they understand how and why to do the question.
Initially I'd thoughtfully assess the pupil's current state based on his previous examination and an initial assesment, following that I'd mutually agree an achievable, yet challenging, program of work for any given duration.
Will work through questions with you to help understanding. Can explain theory behind mathematical ideas, as well as showing proof for common formulae which I find useful in aiding understanding. Any issues with chemistry related maths can also be dealt with. I can meet in person or online according to needs.
I currently study A-Level Maths. I am offering to tutor in the summer holidays, to teach Maths.
I like to pass on my passion and enthusiasm for Mathematics onto others, so all classes will be as fun as possible and easy to understand. I enjoy explaining complex concepts in a simplistic way and can adapt my style of teaching very easily to all sorts of individuals.
Mathematics is about solving problems and so therefore, the best way to learn is to practice and do countless examples. Starting simple and gradually working up to more complex problems. For GCSE and A-Level students, the best way to learn is to practice questions and to do past papers.
I have a degree in Business Management and Information Communication Technology. I'm very passionate in Maths so I started teaching maths almost 5years ago. I have been preparing short notes for the students and asks them to teach me what they learnt during the session help me to teach them and understand them easier and also I assured myself that they understood what I taught.
I have developed specific teaching methods for each topic within each subject. Being young allows me to communicate with my students well whilst still having vast experience in doing what I do. These methods have been created through past experience and these methods will be modified as my career builds.
I am a nearly qualified actuary worked in the leading life insurance and reinsurance companies in U.K. over the last 15 years. Due to an injury I have decided to use my mathematical and statistical knowledge to assist who requires support. Currently, I could provide my service either from my home where I live with my three sons in Surrey or remotely. Thank you.
My patient yet encouraging nature I believe allows me to continually try to establish a good rapport with my students which is vital for having tu-tees being more engaged and enthusiastic. When tutoring I mainly take a mentoring role; for example teaching my students on how to become independent/critical thinkers and the importance of scheduling routine for study.
My teaching is strongly reliant on building a comfortable environment for my students so they feel open enough to raise any and all queries they have with me so that we can work together to bring out the best in them.
I am young and vibrant and definitely don’t feel maths should be boring to learn. I try to make my lessons as comfortable and as engaging as possible while making sure that the studeng is learning and growing more confident.
My teaching method involves helping the student understand the topic, and then understanding the methodology. This means they are able to answer more or less every other question on this topic. I base my lessons on topics that my student finds difficult - so it is very much tailored to each individual.
I provide English or Maths lessons or both for any type of level, with detailed and structured lessons in order to cover all topics and learn effectively as well as enjoy the learning. I provide lessons at students homes or via webcam.
I base my teaching on getting to know each child’s strengths and abilities through consistent assessment, using a wide variety of resources including online material. I base the success of lessons on nurturing confidence in the children I teach, giving them opportunities to be expressive and creative whilst also maintaining a formal structure that supports each child in their learning journey.
As a teacher, Julia believes in introducing new concepts to all her students and exploring the use of mathematics far beyond classroom in an enjoyable way. When it comes to helping students succeed, she believes that a positive attitude is key to building confidence and achieving academic goals. She understand that no two students are the same and there is no one way of teaching.
My teaching method is targeting the areas of a topic that the student is lacking in and ensuring that I explain it in a way that is the help to them in understanding it. I would start a lesson by reviewing past knowledge, continue by teaching any new knowledge and finish by ensuring that the student has understood the concepts taught.
I have done PhD Maths at Queen Mary University of London and tutoring for 10 years at different levels of students and my students make progress very quickly. I am teaching maths and English for ages 7-13. Also teaching in groups considerably with siblings at discount rate. Also training children to pass 11+ exams throughout the year and intensely before the exams during the summer.
After gaining 6 As and 5 A* at GCSE, I hope to gain 3 As and above at A level. The progress I have made has been due to all the help I have received, alongside my hard work and dedication. I would like ot help others in this way. I make lessons positive and ensure you go home having learned a lot and ready to be back soon.
My teaching method is relaxed, and tailored to the students needs, depending on how many students in each class, as sometime it is one-to-one, or classes, where the maximum is 6 students. Each class is based on where the student is, thus the topics are chosen to their level.
