I like to break down subjects to their basics to ensure a full understanding of it. I like to use videos, drawings and abbreviations in order to help understanding and memory of the subject I'm teaching, and have no problem with going over a subject several times in order for it to be understood.
As I have mentioned before, I teach up to GCSE level. I cannot emphasize strongly enough, the importance of past papers and content knowledge, and I am here to help you with that. My methods include printing out the specification, going through the content first, asking questions, making sure the student understands it - then we will approach some past paper questions together.
I will ensure that I fill in any gaps in a students knowledge. Moreover, help them through difficult concepts and then give short exam questions. My main aim will be that students get the best grades. As a tutor, I will start of by forming foundation then lead on to building a stronger foundation by giving students questions at different levels of difficulties.

Hi I'm a young lady who inspires children and helps them improve in their education. I have recently finished my GCSE's and am on a 2 month break. My teaching is really standard but really helpful. I teach English, Science and maths to up to 13 year olds and I really just want to help children to enlist to the life of education.
Given my engineering background, I aim to contextualise my students learning with examples of how STEM topics relate to practical applications. I also personalise my lessons to fit my students needs. Depending on the level of understanding of the student, I recommend between 2-3 session weekly schedule for effective learning, following a week-by-week modular structure.
I devise quarterly teaching plans for students to ensure complete coverage of the curriculum well before the end of the year to leave enough time for past papers and revision. I am a Neuroscience student in King's College London and am currently in my first year of university. I have graduated from the International Baccalaureate diploma programme with a grade of 37 (out of 45) and am highly qualified in Maths and Sciences, especially Chemistry, which I am currently also doing in my university degree.
