I believe that maths is something that everyone can learn to do. Whatever your current level or previous experience, we can work together to help you develop confidence in your own learning. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach maths. I also provide Counselling and Coaching, working with any educational or other problems that might benefit from a psychological approach.
I like to work with students during the initial meeting which is informal to discuss strengths and any areas they feel that they would like to develop and work on. Each session is prepared in advance at the previous session with the involvement of the student. A lot of the sessions involve visual and interactive work in a relaxed and non formal manner.
I offer leasons on all subjects (english, maths, art, etc) to young people, as well as life skills. I can use sign-along and PECS where required. I am very patient and will work on the child's terms but will push them to achieve what they are capable of. I am also trained in CAMHS.
I don't have a set methodology, it's based fully on the student. I try to figure out if the student learns more by writing, reading or listening and consider what kind of work we have to do together.

I remember struggling with homework and subject work owing to a lack of confidence, so here I am to help fill gaps and enable youngsters. I’m happy to be led by pupils and parents and can work in 30-45 minute sessions.
hi! Right now I am studying all national 5s at secondary/high school and have just started tutoring. I am a friendly, reliable, patient person and would adapt lessons to soot each child. I mostly work with younger children (primary school ages).
I base any learning activity completely around the child. It is so important for children on the spectrum to not only learn at their own pace but also feel comfortable in the way that they are learning. I think that fully understanding the parents' concerns and listening to what the child's needs are, are two of the most important ways I can assist in helping them reach their full potential.
